Many brands and types of pesto can be found in health food stores and supermarkets but often they can be quite expensive. With the BioChef Mycook you can make a fresh, additive free pesto. Try kale or coriander or a mix to change it up. If you find pine nuts are too expensive, try walnuts, sunfower seeds or almonds.


Approx time: 30 sec

  • 30 g Basil
  • 50 g Pine Nuts
  • 200 g Oil
  • 100 g Water
  • 50 g Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • 1 Garlic Cloves (degermed)
  • Salt (try Himalayan Salt)


Place all ingredients in the jug

Pesto is ideal for pasta and very refreshing in the summer. Pesto can also be used as a spread on sandwiches or crackers. Toss with cooked chicken and pasta for a heathly protein lunch or dinner.
